Sleeping more could be the key to a happier relationship

Getting more sleep could be the key to a happier relationship.
The key to a happier relationship could be simply getting more sleep.
A new study published in the Journal of Family Psychology found that couples who slept more were happier in their relationship.
Researchers studied 68 newlywed couples for seven days, asking them the amount of sleep they had each night and how satisfied they felt in their relationship.
The results showed that individuals were “more satisfied” in their relationships on days after they had a longer sleep.
In particular, men were found to feel less negative about different aspects of their relationship when they had more sleep.
Considering that lack of sleep can lead to irritability, reduced concentration and the overall inability to solve problems, it's no wonder that more sleep can lead to a happier relationship.
Seven to nine hours sleep per night is the average recommended amount for a grown adult, so be sure to hit the hay on time to ensure you get plenty of sleep each night.
